Structure and governance
NEENP has a large board, welcoming all those with an interest in cross sector approach to enhancing our natural environment.
The structure of NEENP gives responsibility for setting priorities and strategy to the Executive Group. Members of this group are from the wider partnership and serve for 2 years after which they can choose to step down. The group is diverse with representatives from Local Authorities, Public Health England, NGO’s and business.
Task and Finish Groups (TFGs) are convened as required, current TFGs include: Project prioritisation, Natural Capital, Local Authorities and government initiatives.
NEENP hosts 1 forum event each year and 1 full board meeting. The Executive group meets a minimum of 4 times a year where progress against plans is reviewed and new initiatives managed. Meeting minutes are made available online.
