How can we manage green spaces, create employment and grow a local enterprise all at the same time?
Investors in the Environment (iiE) was launched because we knew there was a need to work with businesses on various support levels, and that many companies wanted a simpler and more flexible alternative to ISO14001.

At our conference we will be joined by some excellent speakers to reflect on the progress we have made, identify key priorities for our environment through interactive audience voting and launch the new vision and LNP programmes for 2017. The outcome of the workshop will be a pipeline plan of projects that will enable project partners and HLF to focus resources and ensure that the North East continues to achieve successful landscape scale delivery.
The North East Local Nature Partnership (NELNP) is holding a workshop together with the Ecosystems Knowledge Network (EKN) and The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) to determine how improved access to the natural outdoors might play a greater role in addressing the health priorities of the North East.
